I can't answer that question, however your seat belts are defective. 1986 through 1991.
Sad as it is, in 1986 Honda began receiving complaints but were granted 3 years to prove otherwise.
In 1989, three years and however many deaths later, they found the seat belts were defective.
Knowing this they STILL used the belts in the 1990 and 1991 cars!
UNBELIEVABLE!!
The recall being the biggest in US history, bigger than the Firestone recall.
Honda only had to send that LIFE saving info to the original buyers.
As of six years ago when fatally injured, my daughter fell victim, there were still 63 million cars with those defective seat belts out there.
This includes other car manufacturers as well.
You can get your defective seat belts replaced at any Honda dealer.
FREE.
Don't let them tell you otherwise, as it has been quite some time and they may have that LIFE saving info buried deep in the past.
I've been told from other safe seat belt seekers, sometimes you have to insist that whoever your dealing with research it.
Don't become another "cost effective acceptable loss" like my beautiful daughter.
