Default 97 mustang burning oil?

97 mustang gt *off road H pipe and gears* if i rev it up or at take off a white puff of smoke comes out when i give it gas i just replaced the pcv valve ? im not sure other then rings or valves or does it take time for the new pcv to take affect?

if you think about it the answer is there for you . pvc was wrth a try all it has to do is rattle and it is working. 97 is old by now, mustangs are usually driven pretty hard buy most people .so it is the rings you knew that answer all along.
