Default I need help picking a new car.?

Right now I have a Saturn 1996 SC2. I've had this car for 9 months now, it's my very first car, so of course, even though it's not my idea car, it's still my baby.My boyfriend of 3 years has gotten me into the racing sceen. I'm not big on racing, but I absolutly love the cars, and being apart of it.We've been looking at Honda Civic EX's. They're cheap cars, and easy to modify, but after look, i'm not so sure it's what I want. Can anyone give me suggest as to other cars to consider? I need a few more idea's before I finally decide on a car.

honda's are reliable but when it comes to racing its not such a fast car , trying looking into getting a evo 8 MR , or a wrx sti both are good cars and you can find evo's not a days for less then 20k if you still want to stick with honda go with the honda prelude and make sure it has a h22 engine , those are easy to mod and remember to drive safe

you should look into the Honda fit. its a very inexpensive car, and the sport model looks cool, all you need is a nice drop to make it look like a tuner, and from the looks of it their coming out with a lot of aftermarket parts for it. ive seen some that just have a nice drop and some nice 15 inch rims, and they look cool, and if you want to avoid the real racers this is a car to look at, because if you go with the Ex or Si you will get guys like me wanting to race you.
