General Motors is dropping Opel from its brand lineup in Japan. GM cited weak sales, blaming the yen-euro rate. GM says it will focus on its "global brands" of Cadillac, Chevrolet, Hummer and Saab in Japan. Opel sales will end by the end of the year.
