Default Can I put a Turbo on my 98 2 door Civic?

I have a 1998 Civic DX and I want to put a turbo on it. I was talking to my friend and he said he didn't know if my engine could handle a turbo because it doesn't come stock with one. He said the turbo could be too much pressure for my cylinders. Can I put a turbo on my car or is my friend right?

yes you can turbo your car, but its not worth it. it can do up to at least 8 psi without blowing anything i think. still not worth it. engine swap to b18 or k20 ? then turbo? or just run a n/a car.
