can i run a turbo kit to a stock d16 1996 civic engine w/o messing up the car?

yes u can run a stock d16 turbo...just keep the boost low like 6 psi...but i have seen some d16's running up to 12 psi stock engine.....u boost any higher and boom...u will snap a rod and have a hole on ur block iv seen it happen...the most i would go is 7psi running the engine a little rich to protect it from detonation....right now im running an integra ls with stock motor with 10 psi and i have been a little greedy and pushed it to 15 psi at the track...but that was only once
