I just joined the forum and don't want to abuse you guys but looking for some answers. I haven't seen it first hand but my wife says the car will not start and it sounds like something is spinning but engine never turns over. could be the starter...also says the dash lights flash and fuel gauge jumps back and forth.

Hopefully the battery is dead or something simple. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
