Default Are 1990-1993 Honda Accords good cars to start off with?

im 16 goin on 17 n getting my license in 2 months and im saving $$$$ for a car. My price range is anything under $2500. i was thinking of paying off cash for a 1990-1993 honda accord cause civics are wayyyy to burned out amogst the young crowd(i know accords are kinda too). i just wanna know if they are good cars to start off with through the eyes of someone whose older with more experience.

Thanks=)

I live in the LA area (San Gabriel Valley area) and id mostly just be using it for driving to school and sometimes joyrides so id use alot of freeways

sry but i also noticed that most 90-93 accords for sell have over 100,000 miles in thme so would they still be good cars?

honda is general is a very good car to start off with

you can also look up consumer reports on the specific car that you want to buy, to see what other ppl thought about that vehicle.

The Accord will give you good service. Don't buy one from a kid ( they run the heck out of them ), try to buy one from an old person.

Keep the oil changed regularly and it should last a long time. It would not be unusal for you to be able to put up to 175,00 to 190,000 reliable miles on it.

That was a nice looking body style. It would absolutely be a great first car. Just be sure to get one that is stock. You don't want one that has been modified, it will have been beat on. Try to get an EX Coupe with a 5 speed, they are very rare but worth looking for.
