Default What Can I improve on a B16 VTEC engine to make it faster without using NOS?

I own a stock b16 vtec Dohc , and i race on 1/4 mile drags.

what can i do to make it faster without installing a gas system and having a low budget??

What spark plugs are the best 4 VTec Engines?

What is the best the best distributor point?

is there any way to connect the vtec solenoid direct ,and having it running from 0.00 RPM, without installing a VTEC controller Unit?

What can be adjusted to make it faster??

thanks

Stock b16 eh, in a hatch or couple? What year?

Here's the best you can do to improve your 1/4 IN ORDER:

1. Gut your car completely (0$)
2. SLICKS, SLICKS AND MORE SLICKS (250-500$)
3. Intake (50$-250$ no need to buy the expensive intake btw)
4. Exhaust/Header (around a grand, could be more depending on which header you get..)
