Default 06' honda question?

so i hit a curb at 5-10 miles an hour in my former friend's car. 18 hours later something went out on his car and he crashed, wrecking the vehicle beyond recognition. the questions are: what could have gone out to cause such an accident? and could i have been the one who planted the seed for this to happen considering how fast i was going the night before? and who should i contact to solve this mystery?

the only thing i can think of is...either 1. if its a civic or accord, something with front wheel drive you could've knocked loose a CV joint but the only thing that would do is cause the car to not drive since that's what makes the car go acting like a drive shaft, or 2. maybe cracked the the front axle causing your friend to crash and burn. hell of a situation........
