we recently purchased an '01 Civic that came with only 1 key. We've bought a chipped key from the lock smith but don't know how to code it. Can anyone help?

I was told only dealers can program chipped keys and it's pretty pricy.

yup, only the dealership can do such things like this, make sure to bring ID to prove you do own the vehicle
