Default My friend refers to his Honda Accord Coupe 2.0 as a "sports car"... is there

any validity to this? I did a search and came up with a few more references to it as a sports car but I can't understand why.

My 1.9 turbo-diesel out-performs his in acceleration, top speed, fuel economy etc and mine is just a family car! What gives? Why is this car referred to as a sports car?

Most insurance companies classify ANY car with two doors as a sports car regardless of any actual performance factors.

My bf's race car goes from 0 to 60 mph in under 1 second. I can never figure out why anyone thinks their street car is anything other than a TURTLE!
