Wouldn't you like to be a ****** too?
Wouldn't you like to be a ****** too?
Nas Leaks First Song From ****** -- It's Controversial As Promised
Published: Monday - April 21, 2008
Words by Allen Starbury
Nas has leaked the first song the public has heard from his upcoming
controversial album, ******, and the song is just as shocking as the
album's title.
On the new song, titled "Be A ****** Too," the Queensbridge rapper
begins with "You are now allowed to listen to the radio, real ******s
are back (on the radio)" before going into his verse.
On the Salaam Remi-produced track, Nas uses the dreaded "n" word
repeatedly to get his point across, giving a preview of what's to
come.
"I'm a ******, he's a ******, she's ******, we some ******s / wouldn't
you like to be a ****** too / They like to strangle ******s, blame a
******, shootin' ******s, hangin' ******s / still you wanna be a
****** too... true," Nas raps on the song's chorus.
"To all my 'kike' ******s, 'spic' ******s, 'guinea' ******s, 'chink'
******s/ That's right, y'all my ******s, too," he continues.
Before that, though, he even mentions the topic of a young Eminem
using the racial slur, but says he's not mad.
"Not mad cause Eminem said ****** / Cause he's my ****** / Wigger /
Cracker friend / We all black within / We all African within / Some
African's don't like us no way / A killin' happened in Johannesburg
yesterday."
Whatever kind of flack Nas gets for the song, it's done it's job. Only
out a day, the song has sparked controversy and spawned talk between
critics and media alike.
"Be A ****** Too" is just a street leak, however, with the first
single expected to drop soon.

The upcoming album is due in stores later this year, via Def Jam.

Bah. He's not even original. That sounds like an exact ripoff of the old
Dr. Pepper soda song from the '70s.

Does Nas drive a Honda?
Sorry, but I think rap is shorthand for Crap...
